Jetstack, a Kubernetes product and service provider and Venafi company has announced the launch of Jetstack Secure, its product that extends the core value of cert-manager open source project. The company sighted about Jetstack Secure that it delivers protection and full visibility of machine identities to cloud-native platform and security teams.
It is fully automated machine identity management to keep DevOps moving at machine speed. It manages your machine identities across Cloud Native Kubernetes and OpenSwift environments and builds a detailed view of the enterprise security posture.
This includes public trusted certificates for ingress TLS, as well as private certificates for intra service mTLS with service mesh. It includes an open-source agent and is backed by a reliable and scalable Saas Managed by JetStack. The full interface can be set to run for free on a single cluster and customers can upgrade for advanced multi-cluster and alerting capabilities.
It comes in four versions i.e.
- JetStack Secure (free) providing 1 cluster and limited utilities
- JetStack Secure (Saas) providing multiple clusters, $50 per cluster pcm Managed cert-manager updates and external issuers
- JetStack Secure (Enterprise) providing unlimited clustors with SIEM integrations
- JetStack Secure (Enterprise +) with Secure private key storage, Automated CA lifecycle management and orchestration, and DevSecOps code signing and attestation.
